CONCLUSION
The Manhattan project was a required evil of World War Two, and terminated the war. Yes, the creation of the Manhattan Project and the bombings of Japan could be considered immoral. However. taken in context, compared to events such as the Holocaust and Pearl Harbor, it was a necessary casualty (and not the largest). Many innocent people were killed, yes, but Japan surrendered and the war was soon over. In the long run, it most likely saved more lives than taken.
